We're looking forward to week 3 in Örnsköldsvik.
It can only be described as the "Heat of Death".
Not only is Nanne singing "Jag måste kyssa dig", but Magnus Carlsson will be singing "Live Forever" and The Attic will be bouncing around in the back while Therese sings "The Arrival". There's also Måns Zelmerlöw singing Fredrik Kempe's "Cara Mia", which is apparently "discopop with Mediterranean influences". And Måns took part in Idol 2005 and won the Swedish version of Strictly Come Dancing last year. Poor old Sonja Aldén doesn't stand a chance as her "För att du finns" is described as "en ballad". And they've still got to announce the jokers...

Written by Lord Thomas of G:Son and described as a "happy partyschlager". Sounds like it'll be the Schlagerboy song of 2007. And look! She can really do the samba too! What a gal!Sanna Nielsen - "Vågar du, vågar jag"
Another Fredrik Kempe song which is a "poppy schlager with a strong chorus". We're hoping Sanna turns up in the shiny blue dominatrix outfit from 2005, rather than the frumpy white over-size trouser suit she'd picked up on the way to the Globen in 2003 because her real frock had been in the wash.
After Dark - "(Åh) När ni tar saken i egna händer"
Hurrah! The drag queens are back!! With a schlagerdisco song!!
Jessica Andersson - "Kom"
The hotpants are back! And the wobbly stool! And it's "discopop"! Have a look here at Expressen TV for an interview with Jessica. Heaven knows what that frock is that she's turned up in. It looks like she's wrapped herself in Shirley's curtains. But she calls the song a "power disco schlager". She's clearly got her priorities right has Jessica. None of this dreary ballad nonsense!
We were hoping that Andreas Lundstedt and Magnus Carlsson were going to be in the same heat just to be able to see the looks of death that they'd be giving each other, but unfortunately they're not. Never mind Nanne, Jessica and Anna - it'll be Magnus vs. Andreas that'll be the battle of the schlager queens!
It's all just too exciting and there's so many songs - roll on 3rd February!!

I'm a little concerned about Anna Book in that photograph - she seems to be invisible from the waist down!
It's all so exciting. But, do you think they've clumped all the schlager together so we can't have a schlager dominated final?! That's v naughty!
