- getting right to the front for the first half so we could bounce up and down waving our Maltese flags during Morena's performance.
- Trying to meet Morena backstage by following a press person and persuading him to go in to the Green Room and get her to come out to us. This was hugely exciting because we were mixing with all the real journalists, who were walking around with wrist bands on looking busy and important. Morena didn't come out to us. Was this because:
a) She was hiding
b) She was having her hair volumised
c) She was knocking back the gin with Dame Cheryl of Baker
- the schlagertastic Euroband singing big-gay-dance-hands-in-the-air-remix versions of lots of Eurovision schlager tunes (none of this "here's a song from my new album", like most of the other acts...) And Regina's fabulous silver moonboots too.
- Vlad from Romania looking rather lovely. Even if him and Nico did go and spoil it by singing some Disney ballad after they'd done their Eurovision entry.
- Maria's new backing dancers. Don't bother rehearsing boys... Caracola would be proud! The Schlagerboys are dead jealous... we're still waiting to be asked to bang a tambourine on a Eurovision stage. We've dropped enough hints!
- Dame Cheryl Baker giving it some welly during "New Beginning". Bucks Fizz were completely fabulous and frankly upstaged everyone. Apparently they will return to Scala for the "Winners tour" at the end of May. Hurrah!
- Ani Lorak's fabulous backing dancers. And Ani's fabulous frock too. And then she went and spoiled it all by singing "Simply The Best". Why????
- Andy Abraham saying "I'm bringing soul back to Eurovision!" Erm....

Because she wanted to do something that everyone would know. Probably an obvious answer, but also the correct one, because she told us before she did it.
She was lovely, and gorgeous. A boy could turn...until my attention was taken by her dancing boys. They were lovely too. ;-)
The whole evening was absolutely fantastic. Great to see you there, if only briefly - and that applies to everyone else I spoke to for about 10 seconds each as well, which seemed to be a lot of people!
Such an amazing night. You probably couldnt find Morena as she was dancing on the dance floor. Highlight of the night the text message that read: Oh my god were CLUBBING with Morena on the dancefloor. Come!
I think Morena is a good candidate... I think she will win!! VODKA VODKA!
