8 of the 10 songs in the running to represent Austria in Baku have been made available to listen on the ORF website. And it's all about Conchita Wurst and her schlagertastic anthem "That's What I Am". Don't bother listening to any of the others as they are all either shouty, waily or have got far too many guitars for our liking.
Conchita starts off all slow, just like all schlager anthems should, before getting discotastic for the chorus. We can just imagine Conchita standing in a spotlight, in the middle of a darkened stage and then it all lights up and the backing dancers come on. There's much strutting about and lots of singing into wind-machines and then the dancers disappear for the slow bit (after which there really should be a key-change), coming back on stage waving huge rainbow flags. In fact, it should look just like this...
